1910 MARTIN 00-28

VERY RARE! It's not too hard to find a 0-28 .but, look around for a'00-28' They just do not come for sale often. Beautiful Brazilain rosewood. , ebony board 12 fret, and in striking condition. There was a bridge change somewhere in it's life to a slightly larger one. It has since been restored back it by a TOP notch pro shop to it's orignal .Some of the best in the business have had a chance to see this instrument and all agree , it's in great shape with a bridge repair done with a small touch up as well as they can be done. The finish is beautiful and also original as is everything on this guitar.It shows just the slightest of playware as this guitar has been continually loved for over 100 years!! It has never beend strung with anything but Silk and Steel strings or Gut. The top is in great condition.In our experiece this is absoltely one of the finest Martin 's of this period for volume and tone. It almost seems impossible for a guitar of this size to produce the volume it does. It's simply sounds perfect. It would not dissapoint the very best and most discriminating of players. Comes with a new Hardshell case and priced well under book value. Recently repriced to SELL to someone who who play it and appraciate it for it's exceptional tone. . an easy 8.5 condtion. A very cool well made japanese bass from the 'era'. Huge bright and big bass tonea ,well balanced two pickups ,top has black binding on a very red body., Seen it's share of rock and roll wars! Well worn. many dings and touched up area mostly along bottom sides of the body .Still, 100% sound and the front is still the best looking area! . Plays perfect with low action. . Fender Jazz Bass Aerodyne J-Bass from 2004 made in Japan nicely build (first year of production with straight in jack not like later versions with strat-like jack in) First year purchased new(as usual for me!) , Pickups are EMG's [ all stock] color-black with cream body binding- head stock matches color of body. has dual precision-jazz pickup at bridge configuration giving it many tonal possibilities! 2003 Schecter 'Diamond series ' C-4 trans red

Schecter Diamond (sound familiar!) Series C-4 Korea -from 2003 all parts original .Excellent condition-no case EMG-HZ active pickups-nice punch- Quilted amber color with diamond shaped inlays along fret board neck- gold accoutrements(hardware). 5 piece neck profile is somewhere between a classic P and a J bass 34" scale . This bass sounds absolutely awesome!! It looks awesome. Its made beautifully and very well balanced! . 2010 Schecter 'Diamond series' Custom DEVIL bass trans red

. I don't know how they do it . but these are seriously nice basses for very low $$. The devil bass has looks very much the same as a Gibson EB-1 [ Jack Bruce etc etc] but with longer sharper cutaways. Same finish over a solid mahogany body and one amazinly sounding pickup.Body is not heavy and well balanced. Fun to play it. Sound is Strong but NOT muddy. Great for any style 34"scale . . Formally owned and also recorded with by Vern Miller bassist of The Remains [ They opened for the beatles on their 1966 tour] . Comes with signed letter. It's all there ,however tuners have been upgraded to mini grovers [ I loveto keep things original but let's face it , these are MUCH better tuners if you are going to play it. And playing these guitars is a great experience. flat wide neck makes it perhps the best feeling XII neck profile ever. Low action like all hagstroms are famous for. And, it is still not top heavy. 1965 HAGSTROM I red/black [new price]
a nice players grade insturment with a red plastic top plate and black vinyl back both in decent shape, The bridge pickup is a Hagstrom for that famed hag Twang , the neck was replaced with a Seymour Duncan strat sized humbucker [ no routing was done ] , it's been played and also been reconditioned by diamondstrings and plays perfect. .bridge is an ABR and the tuners are Grover mini's. 1962? HAGSTROM BATMAN [ the Ultimate collectible hagstrom solidbody]
we are pleased to offer the rarest of all hagstrom solidbodys. As far as we know this is the only one ever offered for sale in the states, These models were produced in small numbers and never imported, It has a shape not unlike a Gibson SG but the pickups are hag unique humbuckers with a pushbutton control plate, top is blue sparkle and the entire back including the neck is molded white pearloid. the neck is some kind of fiberglass and it has a very smooth feel. also has the Hagstrom tremor arm, call for all details , comes with a Jennings of England hardcase $2100 photo1 photo2 photo3 photo4 [sold long ago as you may have guessed by the price ,,,,,but enjoy takeing a look anyway cause it's incredible

a beautiful wing reissue with five piece neck through and all the great features that you expect on a wing series 'top of the line' instrument. Maybe Ringo would have played this guitar ??? anyway it is solid wood [ I checked] and it sounds as great as it looks with two humbuckers and a 25 1/2" scale rosewood board. 1960's DOMINO CALIFORNIA REBEL!!!! sunburst[ for those who need a ' beyond cool' axe
yikes !! diamond strings is more then proud to finally offer the king-o-da cheezzy guitars! The infamous Domino California rebel. This may be the only thing ever sent over from Japan in the 60's[ Kawai factory so I hear] with a name that truly matches the oddball shape and features. for instance ,,. it looks like an inverted Vox Phantom and it's a thinline kinda like a thinline tele. It's got a whammy of course AND it's got a slotted headstock for crissakes. !! The sunburst finnish which isn't actually all that bad is almost totally hidden by it's fake wood grain pickguard. Best of all, According to international laws, which have now eased up, you no longer have to reside in california and be part of a crazed biker gang backup band to own one. So Don't listen to what your wife sayz about your low bank account,,. this time be a man . 1966 EPIPHONE Riviera XII: very rare 1st year twelve stringer in 'Honeyburst' officially called 'Royal Tan'. Very beautiful guitar with the tone and 'vibe' to match. This instrument was owned at one time by the guitar player from Spira Gyra whilst in Buffalo NY. still in excellent condition. th finish looks more honeyburst and less redish then these photos show. 1968 guild ST-305 [ studio 402 prototype? or custom order] impossibly rare!!!!!: a hollow body 'barney kessel' design, thickness is somewhere between a thinline and a full body. The studio series was made in 301, 302 and 303 models only. A factory St- 305 special label is in this one. All major Guild authorites agree it is most likely a prototype of the Guild St-402 which also sports a thicker body then the others. Very nice sunburst with some checking on the back . Two guild mini-humbuckers and a very impressive ambient sound..W/ Bigsby, or with original Melita bridge and Guild tail in the case. a Guild collectors dream guitar. 1986 CARVIN SH-225 hollow body natural: WOW!!!! one of the very rarest of all Carvins, Only offered in small numbers from 1981 thru 1986 ,you may notice that this one looks similar to the Hofner verythin original AND the reissue series. That's because the body was made by Hofner. everythng else from what I've heard was done by Carvin. It's got a beautiful glued in neck with ebony board. Coil taps and phase switching AND it has two jacks like a Rickenbacker so it can also be played in Stereo, It comes with the special cable to do this . . This one was ordered with all the options available at the time.It's got the Kahler trem , three ply black pickguard and high quality hardcase.Pickups are Duncan alnico's. 1960's Kent/...' Rickenbacker' clone: no model # as this one was bssically rebuilt at Diamondstrings. Where to start??? oh mi-gosh... The neck with it's original tuners IS a Kent with a redburst finish ,The profile is Big [ perhaps even REALLY big] The bound Body which is also Japanese may be a Kent , Sekova, Eko . whatever.. it's extra thin and truly hollow . it's three tone sunburst is still in great condition and the highly flamed back really stands out. some checks lines but very solid, Everything else was pretty much done at Diamondstrings. The pickups are new dearmonds, the knobs are new repro Fender 80's style, The bridge is bigsby the whammy is a bigsby style that I cannot identify [ please let us know if you can because we have another like it in stock] . all electronics are new high quality. It's wired same as a Les Paul. Repro raised pickguard and pickup plates were made at Diamondstrings too. This thing came out great and it's unique. 1967 HAGSTROM XII solid body black: . Formally owned and also recorded with by Vern Miller bassist of The Remains [ They opened for the beatles on their 1966 tour] . Comes with signed letter. It's all there ,however tuners have been upgraded to mini grovers [ I loveto keep things original but let's face it , these are MUCH better tuners if you are going to play it. And playing these guitars is a great experience. flat wide neck makes it perhps the best feeling XII neck profile ever. Low action like all hagstroms are famous for. And, it is still not top heavy. 1910 MARTIN 00-28

VERY RARE! It's not too hard to fidn a 0-28 .but, look around for more of this model. They just do not come for sale often. Beautiful Brazilain rosewood. , ebony board 12 fret, and in striking condition. There was a bridge change soemwhere in it's life to a slightly larger one. It has since been restored back it by a TOP notch pro shop to it's orignal .Some of the best in the business have had a chance to see this instrumetn and all agree , it's in great shape with a bridge repair done with a small touch up as well as they can be done. The finish is beautiful and also original as is everything on this guitar.It shows just the slightest of playware as this guitar has been continually loved for over 100 years!! It has never beend strung with anything but Silk and Steel strings or Gut. The top is in great condition.In our experiece this is absoltely one of the finest Martin 's of this period for volume and tone. It almost seems impossible for a guitar of this size to produce the volume it does. It's simply sounds perfect. It would not dissapoint the very best of and most discriminating of players. 1980's HONDO II /KAY mandolin, amberburst: the cool pointy one . nuff said.? well maybe not enough said..It looks just like the Kay model and I believe it is actually the same thing. Looks like a Rigel kinda sorta.... It plays and sounds a lot beter then anyone would expect [ I've played mandolin for over 20 years and I guarantee this. [ love, Bruce] , there is a little shadow below the bridge where it had sat in the wrong position for too long. The 'SHAFTSBURY' [diamondstrings parlor] guitar [ formally known as ' The EAST RIVER'][ formally known as 'the Castlebar']: handmade by Bruce Diamond shortly after graduating 'GRD'.in1981. This is a very unique parlor size instrument. The sides and back are very nice Koa wood the top is spruce purchased from Gurian's before their fire. There is 'rope' marquettetry around the top and old style Martin stripe down the back covering the seam. The bridge is hand carved and is inlayed with a few rhinestones.It has a slotted headstock that has been repaired by the builder and comes with gold plated shallar tuners.The neck joins at the 12th fret and is a classical width with a rosewood board.This guitar is braced for steel strings but works equally well with nylon or Silk and Bronze.Teh neck profile is a softened 'V' shape. 1990's N.O.S. Ampeg AUB-1 reissue copy by SERIES 10 redburst

made by Bently this is a great and inexpensive Ampeg clone with the see through F-holes [ no scroll headstock though] It plays perfect , sounds strong. a great players piece and you don't have to worry about it like an original vintage piece. 1960's ESTRADA Violin bass[ hollow body with fake f-holes]: looks like a Gibson EB-1 , it has indented f-holes that are not cut out. but it is actually a hollow body and very light. Two humbucking pickups, Pickguard looks clear in the photos from the glare but it is a wood grained formica. The nut and bridge are repros made at Diamondstrings. Two of the tuners are not original but work well. 1980's Ibanez Roadstar II bass sunburst: In beautiful birds eye burst maple top , Rosewood board with a GREAT feeling long scale neck. Low and flat and wide ! One of the very best I've ever played. The pickups have been upgraded to active EMG's and it sounds huge. Bright as a kite or low as my toe. and that's LOW! The top is bound and the pictures don't begin to do it justice. All original hardware with the exception that we had the DIAMONDSTRINGS dept. of plastics consulted to make new pickup rings. This job was spearheaded by Bruce Diamond who has been on the board of the assorted parts division of Diamondstrings for years.[ he plays golf on Wednesdays when he isn't helping out orphans or training the new tellers at the local eyeball bank.]. Next we ordered up a repro pickguard from the people in our pickguard and truss rod cover dept. Although these fine folks were already stressed from the backorders during the holidays they found time to faithfully recreate [ from ebay photos] a true to life Klira pickguard for this model and although it may seem to the average journeyman that it is much like a Hofner bass that sports a similar shape but much less status amongst those in the know, it just ain't !!OK BUDDY!!!!????. The work was performed by MR. BRUCE DIAMOND himself who sometimes visits the underpaid nave's in this sector of the plant when he isn't carousing with the secretaries..Next, we spared no expense coming up with a design to top off this rare and noble european made bass guitar . The folks up on the 12th floor in advertising considered . "Only a Klira is good enough" but,, it didn't fly. So, We went to the top. Mr. Diamond, the CEO [ and janitor] of DIAMONDSTRINGS, when asked to grace this problem stated simply " just say Klira Damn it, that's good enough!! Now, , will you peasants unburden me from your petty problems?" This was not really a question but more of a urgent 'request'. But,, we later found out that it was Mr Diamond himself who designed , built AND installed the new Klira headstock logo himself [ what a Gem he is and good looking too!!!] .He also took it upon himself to set up this particular insturment to his particularly high standards. which means action so low , you can't limbo under it even if you were the ace of spades!!! And believe me Ace, you ain't!. That's about it. , if you have any other specific questions please don't hesitate to contact our emailing and computing division and address it to MR.
